Here's some irresponsible parenting for ya
Hubby was going to do our taxes last night. We've used Turbo Tax for several years and it's always been super easy for us to get done. Well he's upstairs on the computer for all of five minutes when he hits a road block. He can't find Ella's social security card. Of course we have no idea what her number is and we can't find the damn thing anywhere. To get a new one takes several weeks at best. What a pain in the ass.

Last year I had to call my mom the day before taxes were due to get Noah's SS#. The only reason she had it was because I gave it to her to open a 529 plan after he was born. I still don't know where his SS card is, even though we must have gotten one. If I have a 3rd child, he/she probably won't even legally exist.
They are a great tax deduction, aren't they?
