Where oh where did the summer go?

It was cool and rainy here today. We had a playdate over this morning but the post nap afternoon seemed to be looming large in front of us with nothing to do. So I put them in rain coats and rain boots and out we went to stomp in some puddles. Z of course fell down in one almost instantly and was drenched but she didn't seem to mind. At least we all got some fresh air and got some energy out.




At bedtime tonight L said to me "you used to be a little mommy not your the same big as daddy." Translation: I used to be petite but now I'm the same size as my husband who is 10 inches taller than me and weighs 235 lbs. in the eyes of my four year old. Great.
